How to Play Pokémon on PC

Did you know that there are many ways to play Pokémon games on a PC? Whether you want something completely different like the Pokémon trading card games, they can all be played online.

To learn how to play Pokémon games on PC, you first need to brush up your knowledge on emulators for both Ds and Gameboy.

Play Pokémon Games on PC

There are two modules to playing a Gameboy Pokémon game on your PC. The first part is the emulator software that can copycat the Gameboy operating system and the software.

The second part is the Pokémon game to play in the emulator.

To get started, you can get started by downloading a good emulator. We mention VBA-M it is open source and the most common updated.

After set up the emulator you need to find the ROMs online. A ROM is essentially a virtual version of the game that needs to load into the emulator.

You can look for different types of RMS for Pokémon and other emulator games. Click on the game you want to play and then click save game.

An RPM will be downloaded to your PC inside a zip file. Remember, don’t remove the .zip file.

Then, go back to visual by danceM and click File > Open.

Navigate to the downloaded .zip file and double click to open it. The game will now run on the emulator and you can play the game easily.

Saving your game using the built in save system will not work. Instead, you need to click File > save State and then select an empty slot.
