The function will be turned on automatically on Pokémon Sword and Shield. When you start a new game you don’t always have a T by default but it can be a hassle for some players.
For trainers who want to make the most of the game. But there is a way to stop it and you only need to save manually to save your progress.
If you want to turn off or restart AutoSave, just follow these simple steps below.
Deactivate AutoSave on Pokémon Sward & Shield
Follow this step to deactivate AutoSave
- First press x to open the main menu.
- Navigate to options.
- Scroll down to the “AutoSave” option below.
- Set off using the left thumbstick
- Press A to confirm the change.
And that’s it; AutoSave is now switched off. While AutoSave seems like a great function, it’s the first game in the series to have an AutoSave function.
For so long trainers may want to turn it off for a more conventional experience.
We now have an AutoSave feature, where you can simply adventure and it constantly saves the game.
And there you have it. If you want to turn off AutoSave for this traditional theological feeling, you know how to do it now.
Just remember, this is turned on by default, so the game will always save your progress just in case.
