We’ve all had a Google Play store not working problem at some point. Whether it’s an error message when downloading new apps, the Google play store is stalling, crashing or not opening easily, rest assured that there is a solution.
Here’s what you can do when the Google play store isn’t working for you and how you can fix it.
Check Your Internet Connection
This may seem like a simple task but checking your internet connection can solve your problem.
Try switching from Wi-Fi to mobile data or vice versa and see if the problem continues. You may try to return your phone to “Airplane Mode”.
Finally, you can reset your router to make sure you have a good connection.
Clear the Google Play Store Cache
In some cases, you can simply empty the cache and go back to the play store.
A cache is a storage area that temporarily holds data so that it can be quickly restored without the need to reload.
It can solve your problem and it is easy to empty. First go to setting from the home screen of your smartphone.
Then go into your application or application manager dependent on your device.
From there you should either be able to scroll down and hit clear cache or you have to go to storage first then clear the cache.
When it’s done go back to your Google play store and see if your issue is solved.
